You may want to control your rental unit temperature when it’s vacant, thereby saving $$$$$ on heating and cooling costs. We like the Honeywell 9000 thermostat for this purpose. It’s very responsive to remote control and is fully programmable. It’s easy for guests to use, too.

We also have mini-split heat-A/C units in several locations and those typically come with the ability to connect directly to the internet so you can control them with an app or website.
